Thank you for trying to deal with this difficult situation. She knows she is being loved and that means a lot. Wish the news had been better, but I think she is still having some fun living with you.

Take the Science Diet back to the store or vet you got it from. They will usually take it back if the dog could not eat it. I have done that before at the vets. Worth a try.

This little girl sure needed you and I know she will give you lots of love. Start with the most conservative treatments and she if you can get her comfortable before trying to get the surgery. It is wonderful you are not taking her back to this woman. I have to wonder if she is not a puppy mill product!! Prayers for you

RE: counting down the days till surgery
I have 2 new knees that are 2 and 3 years old. They are noisy, but wonderful. There are a blessing now that I have had a spinal fusion as i can bend down with my knees. You will walk right away.

One added point. Since they give me a bigger piece of their heart, my heart grows bigger with each new furchild. After all, it is nearly imopossible to find a human with a greater heart than a dog.

Today Willow is acting completely like her old self. She got Jane's glasses which will have to be replaced!! Anyway, she is lovable. :)
I am glad I did not have to give baths after surgery. My back is not ready for prime time!!

Willow got her hug from Lucy, thanks. Yes, we really hope she never gets this again. She is just now getting back to eating and that is EN food and will eventually got to a fish and potato. She is worth everything we have gone through with her. She is so sweet natured.
